Last Post

The END

So yes, this is my last post in Journalism about Education.  I hope you all enjoyed the information i collected for you and i also hope that you use that information towards your education. Education is an important fact in our lives, and there are so many ways you can tackle your education experience, whether its in middle school, high school or college. Always remember that education, primally learning never stops. So make the best of your education, try new things and make new memories. In my journalism i have learned so much about different topics. One of my most favorite thing that i learned in this class is how to write a profile paper. The whole process is just exciting. Journalism is something that i will possibly look towards in the future! I hope everyone has had just as an exciting learning experince as i have! Good luck <3

ACT Practice Value.

ACT PRACTICE DAY.

On Tuesday, January 8, Wyoming High School took the whole day to prep under class men to take the practice ACT. The practice ACT includes students going to classrooms they will eventually test in. Also the teachers mimic the real ACT test taking so students can experience the test before they take the actual test. Me and a junior at Wyoming High talked about his experience while taking the ACT. I asked him how he did, and he replied "It was alright. I got an 18" and i told him that, that wasn't bad at all, he told that "[he] was trying to get a 21 though and that [he] kinda felt rushed on the science part. Since i have already took the ACT a few times myself i gave him some advice and told him to do the graphs first, since they are pretty direct and fast to read. He was thankful for the advice and told me that he "would keep that in mind next time". I think that the whole ACT practice day is beneficial to students because that way, they can see where they stand and they can see which subjects they need improvement on.
